About Anya

I'm a dedicated tutor in Math and Science, working with students from elementary school through high school. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each learner: I take the time to understand exactly where you're starting from, then build your skills and confidence step by step, explaining concepts clearly and in multiple ways until they truly make sense. Whether you're catching up on fundamentals, working through challenging coursework, or preparing for an exam, you can count on clear explanations, careful attention to your individual needs, and a supportive environment where questions are always welcome.

About the lesson

I'm an adaptable tutor for Math and Science across all ages and levels, from elementary school through high school. My approach starts with figuring out what a student already knows, then uses worked examples, guided practice, and Socratic questioning to build understanding rather than just giving answers, explaining concepts multiple ways until something clicks. What sets me apart is patience with repetition, zero judgment about learning gaps (even learning something from years ago), and the ability to connect ideas across subjects.
