About Rick
When I was a student in high school and college, tutoring was still in its early stages which meant I pretty much had to go it alone - which wasn't too bad for me at the time because I was very thirsty for knowledge. As I continued, I soon realized that I had quite a talent for helping others (my classmates) understand some pretty complex material regarding math, chemistry, or physics. It was at that point that I started tutoring in 1987.

My tutoring methodology is quite simple - make it understandable. I have helped thousands of students at every level by explaining every detail needed to solve problems in the most efficient way possible. Most often I will give brief explanation of the topic followed by examples involving problem sets as needed. Quiz and test prep - no problem.
