About Bernalee

I have been tutoring for 10 years. I have tutored Afrikaans, English, Biology, History, and Music Theory. I have worked with both South African and international syllabi. Teaching a student how to think, and not what to think, is the key to my success.

About the lesson

I use an intuitive approach to tutoring. Each student’s needs vary and adapting to those needs is key to success. I teach my students how to think, and how to process the information that is given. I focus on understanding the rules of Afrikaans and how to apply them in comprehension, literature, and creative writing.
