About Alicia
I began my dance training at a young age under the guidance of renowned Cuban ballerina Magda Auñon. I later trained and graduated from Ellison Ballet in New York City, where the curriculum emphasized Vaganova technique and refined artistic expression.
In 2018, I joined a professional ballet company in NYC, performing in multiple full-length classical ballets as well as contemporary works. During the pandemic, I returned to my hometown in Florida, where I continued teaching ballet and contemporary dance to students of all ages and experience levels.

I offer individualized private dance instruction designed to help you reach your full potential as a dancer. Together, we will identify your personal goals, whether you aspire to join a professional company, strengthen your classical foundation to complement another sport or career, or simply explore the joy of movement and self-expression through dance.
For pre-professional dancers, sessions are tailored to target the areas that matter most for your growth, such as allegro, adagio, strength, artistry, transitions, and stamina. Each class is thoughtfully structured to refine and polish these skills, and you will receive guided exercises and resources to continue building both physical strength and confidence outside of lessons.
For dancers using ballet as a foundation for another discipline or profession, we will focus on the elements of training that serve you best. Dance develops far more than technique, it enhances breath and stamina control, body and spatial awareness, coordination, discipline, and perseverance, all of which translate beyond the dance studio.
For beginners, dance can sometimes feel overwhelming or repetitive. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where you can build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and rediscover the excitement that makes this art form so special.
The path may be challenging, but it will also be deeply rewarding, and I am here to guide you every step of the way.
