About Aubrey
Helping students learn violin has been a rewarding experience throughout my teaching career. With 9 years of teaching experience, I have supported children and adult learners through patient guidance and lessons that make learning enjoyable.
I focus on building strong basics before moving to advanced techniques. Students improve bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, tone production, and musical expression through clear explanations, practical activities, and consistent practice.
Every learner has different goals and abilities, so I adjust my lessons to suit their needs and interests. Whether learning for performances, examinations, or personal enjoyment, I provide encouragement, useful feedback, and continuous support.

Learning violin becomes easier when students develop strong foundations from the beginning. My lessons include demonstrations, guided practice, and carefully planned exercises that help students improve technique, confidence, and musical understanding in a comfortable learning environment.
Students learn posture, bow hold, finger placement, bowing techniques, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, music theory, and performance skills. Practical exercises and musical pieces help students apply techniques while developing better control and expressive violin playing.
Students receive constructive feedback, home practice guidance, and regular progress reviews to understand their development. Whether preparing for concerts, auditions, examinations, or learning for personal enjoyment, every lesson supports steady improvement and helps students enjoy their violin journey.
