About Gloria
Guiding students as they learn the violin has been a rewarding experience throughout my 11 years of teaching. I enjoy helping young learners and adult students develop confidence through supportive lessons that make learning enjoyable while building strong musical skills.
Good progress comes from understanding the basics before moving to advanced techniques. I help students improve bow control, tone production, intonation, rhythm, finger placement, and musical expression through clear explanations, practical activities, and regular guided practice.
Each learner has different goals, interests, and learning styles, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs. Whether learning for performances, examinations, or personal enjoyment, I provide steady encouragement, useful feedback, and continuous support along the way.

Students in my violin classes learn through guided demonstrations, practical exercises, and enjoyable musical activities that make every lesson both productive and engaging. Sessions are planned around individual goals so students can improve steadily while building confidence and strong technical foundations.
Lessons include posture, bow hold, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, music theory, and performance skills. Students apply these techniques through carefully selected exercises and musical pieces that improve control and expressive playing.
Constructive feedback, personalized practice plans, and regular progress discussions help students understand their development after every lesson. Whether preparing for auditions, concerts, examinations, or personal enjoyment, each class encourages steady improvement while making violin learning enjoyable and rewarding.
