About Brenna

Hello! I’m Brenna McLane, a passionate violin and viola teacher with over 15 years of experience. I hold a Performance Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music and have had the privilege of learning from renowned violists Steven Dann, Katharine Rappaport, and Rennie Regehr. My approach to teaching is grounded in a deep love for music and a commitment to helping each student reach their full potential.

I work with students of all ages, from beginners to advanced players, and I truly believe that anyone, regardless of age, can experience the joy of making music. Whether you're 6 or 60, I will tailor lessons to fit your unique learning style and goals. My teaching is not one-size-fits-all—each lesson is personalized to meet the specific needs and aspirations of my students.

Whether you're preparing for a recital, audition, competition, or simply looking to improve your skills, I create a supportive and fun environment where you can grow as a musician. My goal is to make learning music a rewarding and enjoyable experience, guiding you through every step of the process with patience, encouragement, and expertise. I look forward to helping you on your musical journey!

I strive to create a fun and inspiring learning environment where students feel excited to reach their musical goals. Each lesson is personalized to match the unique needs and interests of my students, making sure every session is fresh and engaging. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I've had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and backgrounds—from young children to adults. I love exploring creative and innovative ways to teach music at all levels. My approach combines the Suzuki method with Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) books to help students grow in their skills and confidence. I'm passionate about making learning enjoyable and helping students discover their own musical voice. Together, we’ll create an experience that’s tailored to your goals and abilities. Let’s make music and have fun while doing it!
