About Marcia

Hello, I'm Marcia, founder of Draw Out.

For over 20 years I've had the privilege of using my voice professionally, performing in London's West End in productions including The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Hairspray. Those experiences taught me that a great voice is about far more than technique—it's about confidence, freedom, authenticity and connection.

Today, my passion is helping others discover the same.

Whether you're an experienced performer, or someone who has always wanted to sing but never felt confident enough, I provide a supportive, encouraging environment where you can develop your voice at your own pace.

"I believe every voice has a story, and every person deserves the confidence to share it." My role isn't to change who you are, but to help you unlock the voice that's already within you.

Every student is different, which is why I tailor every lesson to your goals, experience and learning style. Seeing someone discover new confidence in their singing or speaking is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

When I'm not coaching, I continue to enjoy exploring new ways to help people communicate with greater confidence, presence and authenticity.

I look forward to helping you discover what your voice is truly capable of.

About the lesson

No two voices are the same, so no two lessons should be either.

Every lesson begins by understanding your goals, your current strengths and the areas that are holding you back. Whether you're looking to sing with greater freedom, prepare for an audition, speak with more confidence, overcome vocal strain or simply discover what your voice is capable of, your lessons will be designed around you.

Together we'll develop healthy vocal technique, improve breath control, increase vocal strength, balance your vocal registers, extend your range and build confidence in using your voice naturally and authentically.

For speakers and professionals, we'll also work on vocal presence, clarity, projection, pacing and techniques that help you communicate with confidence and command attention without forcing your voice.

My teaching style is supportive, encouraging and practical. I create a relaxed environment where you can experiment, make progress and enjoy the process, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced performer looking to refine your skills.

Above all, my goal isn't simply to teach you how to sing or speak better—it's to help you unlock your most authentic, confident and powerful voice.

Lessons are available online worldwide or in person across London.

Perfect! Oh my goodness, it was my first visit to Marcia and she was so welcoming and put me immediately at ease. Her technical expertise was phenomenal and her way of communicating technical or complex information in very simple, understandable terms was very helpful. The lesson felt safe, lots of fun, and I made strides of progress from my baseline in just one hour! Gillians strengths are that she understands music and harmonics. Her pitching is also excellent. Her thin folds posture is also good and she is able to change breath flow on her vocal folds.
We will initially work on thick fold posture, volume, and onsets and offsets approaching and ending notes which will improve dynamics.

Denica was a pleasure to teach. She has a beautiful rich sound, a wide range, and amazing pitching. What we will work on is control of the vocal folds awareness of whats happening with vocal onsets and offsets and confidence through technical awareness. Really enjoyable session.
