About Megan

With 8 years of professional performing experience, I offer fun, supportive singing lessons focused on confidence, impeccable vocal technique and healthy singing. I’ve really perfected my craft in singing and vocal health through both training and professional experience, and I’m passionate about helping people reach their goals, whether that’s auditions, exams, or a space to switch off, have a laugh and enjoy singing!
I love helping students discover their own unique singing style so they can feel comfortable, confident and completely themselves when they sing.

About the lesson

I want lessons to feel like a safe, relaxed space where you can build confidence, improve your singing, and actually enjoy yourself without feeling judged. I focus a lot on acting through song, storytelling and helping you properly connect to what you’re singing, while also building solid vocal technique. I’ve got a really strong understanding of vocal science and healthy singing and love helping people understand how their voice works through things like resonance, vocal space, and releasing tongue and jaw tension. I’m very into the technical side of singing, but lessons are always fun and easy going… you should never feel embarrassed about making mistakes or trying something silly!

I also offer Grades 1–8 training, with a 100% pass rate in LCME Musical Theatre for Singers, Musical Theatre for Actors, and Pop Vocals exams, alongside hundreds of successful exam results.
I recently received this years results which was 10% high merits, 90% distinctions and two of those distinctions were 100/100 marks!

Whether you want to work towards exams, drama school, professional auditions, or just sing for fun, I’ll always tailor lessons to you and what you want to get out of them. I’m very easy going, LOVE a laugh, and want lessons to feel somewhere you can learn, grow, and leave in a fabulous mood.

Ingrid was super! We got to know each other for the first lesson. She already has really great pitching, tone and vibrato. We worked on brightening vowel shapes, forward placement and singing without strain. Can’t wait for the next lesson!
