About Ashley
I have been tutoring students since I was in high school. While in college, I was hired by my university to tutor student athletes in English and math courses. Most recently, I tutored my employer's son for the ACT in all areas. His composite score rose from a 19 to a 25.

My approach to learning and teaching is mostly student-centered so that the student plays an equally active role in the learning process. Lesson structure has formal components (written assignments) and informal components (discussions about literature). Technology is kept to a minimum in order to reinforce grammar and writing skills.
