About Kathelene

Hello, students! I am Teacher Kat, and I am passionate about teaching because I believe in the power of communication and confidence. With a degree in IT and over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and train many professionals. However, in the past 3 years, I’ve discovered a true passion for coaching kids and teens like you in storytelling and public speaking.

I want to help you find your voice, express your ideas confidently, and become great communicators. I believe that every child deserves a stage, and through my classes, I hope to help you develop the skills to share your stories with the world. Together, we’ll work on building your confidence, having fun, and growing as speakers!

About the lesson

I use an interactive and student-centered teaching approach that emphasizes engagement and building confidence. My lessons, typically 45 minutes, focus on practical exercises, clear communication, and personalized feedback. With a degree in IT and 20 years of industry experience, I’ve been involved in training and have spent the past 3 years coaching kids and teens, ages 7-17, in storytelling and public speaking. My lessons cater to beginners and those looking to enhance their communication skills.
