About Derrick
My last tutoring job was for a high school senior anticipating majoring in art.
She in her own words "hated math", but I taught her how to "decode" the SAT math questions into puzzles with easier solutions than first impressions suggest. She enjoyed this more, and with my help she improved her score 70 points - enough to move her from below average to above.
She got the school she wanted, and her mom celebrated by treating us to Korean barbecue!
