About Malik
I think it's important to be patient with yourself when studying literature, and especially when sitting down to write something. While professionalism is always key, the study of English literature or writing is very much like exploring philosophy. Unlike science and mathematics, the answer isn't always out there in the fact-based world. You have to ask yourself how the text affects you, how does it make you feel... In that way, it's important to be patient for inspiration to take hold.

My approach to English tutoring is concentrated in two related but distinct categories: strong textual analysis and a robust writing practice. What sets me apart from other tutors is my publication history, as well as my strong familiarity with the literary canon. My lessons are for anyone who is pursuing an interest (whether collegiate or not) in creative writing or literary history.
