About Tony
We will cover basic hand techniques in order to help you with independence, and muscle memory. Basic Tumbao will be our 1st rhythm/technique, and from there will progress to Bolero. I will cover the history of these rhythms, and how to incorporate them into your arsenal of percussive rhythms.

We will start with the basics, counting, hand techniques, we will gradually progress into a variety of rhythms, "Tumbao", "ChaChaCha", "Bolero", "Merengue", "Bossa Nova", "Samba", "6/8" to name a few. We will work at your pace, videotaping is encouraged for later reference on your own. We will start with one drum, then progress to two, three, or even four if desired. First hand technique will cover the exercise to develop muscle memory for the hands and wrist: "Heel-Toe-Slap-Toe-Heel-Toe-Open-Open"
