About Max
I'm a musician and songwriter who has been practising the craft for 16 years. My main love is guitar and singing because of how much it has to offer and I love helping other people on their journey to be able to share the experience of being able to play their favourite songs or write a song that means something to them.

Technique is important, but the most important thing is that it is fun. That's why after the real basics, I believe it's best to start with songs and melodies you love, after all, music is supposed to be enjoyable! I've taught theatre and music for 10+ years. I have an undergraduate degree in vocal performance and am currently studying a master's in songwriting. I also studied classical guitar and am qualified to Grade 5 in Music Theory. I am happy to teach any and all of these skills. My main experience in teaching is with younger students, however, I have taught from ages 8-55, so I'm here to help anyone who needs it!
