About Aubrey
I am a professional Chess tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students. I have successfully guided around 200 students, helping them improve strategy, confidence, and competitive thinking. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, motivation, and clear problem-solving. I focus on strong fundamentals, smart planning, and learning from real games. I focus on building strong foundations in openings, middlegame strategy, endgames, tactics, calculation, and positional understanding. I teach game analysis, critical thinking, time management, and tournament preparation. With empathy and patience, I understand each student’s level and learning pace. I motivate students to enjoy learning while developing discipline and confidence. I use problem-solving methods, real-game examples, puzzles, and guided practice to improve decision-making. My goal is to help students think independently, handle pressure, and grow as smart, strategic players both on and off the board.
