My work has been shown internationally including Mexico and Switzerland. In addition to my practice I specialize in art theory; how ideas shape art. My teaching emphasizes the iterative, process-driven nature of visual thinking: whether drawing or painting, students are asked to demonstrate learned skills as they develop their own skills, strategies, and procedural frameworks. Students engage deeply with concept, structure, expression and decision-making.
