I started college in my mid-twenties and began my math journey with beginning algebra. Along the way, I struggled often with math, and know what it is like to be frustrated with learning. I have earned my degrees all in math; my master's is in mathematics with an emphasis on education.

I have worked with students with all levels of mathematical capability, and pride myself on not only being patient but also creative in finding ways to help students understand math. I’ve been tutoring for over 30 years and excel at working one on one or in small groups to help students to truly understand the language of mathematics.
