About Solly
I have worked in teaching for several years, in the subject maths at school level and at university level. Then later I moved to Stats at university level, from first year level to supervision at doctoral level. That is, I have supervised and still supervise postgraduates in the subject. I am still involved in teaching matric maths to school learners and they do well, though informally.

I introduce concepts by liking with what they already know, or I revise what they should know but have forgotten. It is important that the students engage, ask questions and make comments. I use simple exercises to explain or clarify definitions. I give homework and mark it, and then give feedback to each student and an overall feedback for everyone.
