About Hemalatha
I am a passionate educator, researcher, and entrepreneurial leader with over a decade of experience across academia and industry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Placement Officer at Garden City University, Bangalore, I bring a rich blend of management expertise, academic coordination, and strategic planning to the forefront of higher education. I hold an MBA in Finance & Marketing and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship at the University of Mysore. My diverse portfolio includes curriculum design, student development, faculty training, and NAAC/NIRF accreditation leadership. I am an accomplished author, having written textbooks and published extensively in UGC CARE and ABDC journals on topics such as women empowerment, risk analysis, and entrepreneurship education. An advocate for practical learning and innovation, I have conducted over 50 workshops and FDPs and played pivotal roles in establishing industry-academia interfaces, including entrepreneurship initiatives at GCU. With additional experience as a certified trainer and consultant, my work reflects a strong commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and the integration of real-world applications in education.
