About DANIEL
I'm Daniel, I'm 28 years old, I'm a graduate in English philology at the University of Barcelona. I have been teaching English for 4 years. I have experience with young people of all ages (Baccalaureate, university, exam preparation and job interviews, language exchange) children, Spanish courses for foreigners. In the university I studied credits such as Psychopedagogy applied to language, Prescriptive and descriptive grammar, syntax, phonetics and phonology, translation, semantics and pragmatics, neurolinguistics and cognitive and contrastive linguistics, among others. Recently in Barcelona I worked in computational linguistics where the working group that I was part of created the Looking4language platform (thanks to a social entrepreneur) where I organized the "target language" that the student then had to put into practice in the meetings we had in an international and innovative environment, where through the App the student could contact another to make an exchange according to their needs / level (meetups). In 2016 I worked in Warsaw-Poland in the English Speak Up academy for 4 months. Then I left the company to work in Krakov-Poland, in a technology company. Simultaneously, I carried out the translation of texts on different topics (business translator, scientific texts for master students, texts for companies, restaurant menus). In 2011 I worked 10 months in New Jersey- USA. I worked as a waiter in an Argentine restaurant.

Class methodology: The classes follow the methodology of Task Based Learning, a method that I have taken from the university taught by Dr. R. Gilabert (full professor at the University of Barcelona), a method that focuses not so much on grammar but on The motivation (needs, interests and usefulness) of the student will be put into practice in real life to perform their work or personal activities. I prefer to do online classes since I am not always in a stable city, although they are online the sending / receiving of files through the email will be frequent to work with the written language where writing and always personalized exercises are included.
