About Claire
For 5 years, I’ve been helping middle school students discover that physics can be both fun and approachable. My degree in Physics with Philosophy gives me the tools to break down abstract concepts into clear ideas. I specialize in teaching forces and motion in ways that connect directly to students’ daily lives. From soccer games to playground swings, physics is everywhere we look. To make things even clearer, I use simple experiments that add excitement to learning. Problem-solving activities are a big part of my approach. I walk students through challenges, helping them understand each step. This builds their skills while also growing their confidence. Physics can seem tricky at first, but with practice, it becomes manageable. Many students are surprised by how much they enjoy it once they see the real-world connections. I create a supportive space where curiosity and learning go hand in hand. Each lesson encourages exploration and builds a strong foundation for the future. Together, we’ll turn physics into a subject that sparks curiosity and excitement.

My approach to teaching physics is systematic and student-focused. I prepare learners for AP Physics by breaking down concepts into easy steps. Motion, energy, waves, and circuits are explained in ways that make sense. I emphasize drills that sharpen both speed and understanding. Practice tests form a regular part of the lessons to mimic exam conditions. I show students how to use effective strategies like diagram analysis and estimation. Common errors are reviewed so they can be avoided in future attempts. Feedback is always clear and supportive, helping learners track improvement. Lessons include creative examples that bring physics to life. Each session builds on the previous one, ensuring steady growth. By focusing on both knowledge and confidence, students are prepared for high exam scores. Together, we make physics a subject that feels less intimidating and more rewarding.
