About Sahana

My interest in programming started during my Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, where I learned how coding can be used to build useful applications. I was fascinated by how logical thinking can create real solutions. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students understand programming in a simple and engaging way.

I believe programming should be easy to understand when taught clearly. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas, which helps them build confidence. I also adapt my teaching based on each student’s level, so they can learn comfortably at their own pace.

Outside teaching, I continue working on small coding projects and learning new technologies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching programming is very rewarding for me because I see students grow from beginners to confident learners. Helping them build useful skills is something I truly enjoy.

About the lesson

Programming becomes easier when students understand how to think logically and solve problems step by step. In my lessons, I focus on building this thinking process in a clear and simple way. We begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditions. I explain each topic using simple examples so students can easily understand how coding works. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new ideas.

As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics like functions, object-oriented programming, and algorithms. Each lesson includes practice exercises that help students apply what they learn. I also guide them through small projects, which help them connect different concepts and build real programs. Debugging is an important part of learning, so I show students how to identify and fix errors calmly. This helps build confidence and independence.

Programming lessons also improve problem-solving and analytical skills. Students learn how to break complex problems into smaller steps and find solutions. Over time, they become more confident and enjoy coding. My goal is to help learners build strong programming skills and feel confident creating their own projects.
