About Tatum
My journey in programming began with curiosity about transforming abstract logic into functional systems, which led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped learners progress from foundational skills to advanced coding competence, emphasizing logical reasoning, problem-solving, and creativity. I prioritize clarity, patience, and personalized instruction. Many learners struggle when programming concepts are introduced abstractly. I break down complex topics into clear steps, provide real-world examples, and encourage hands-on experimentation. This approach helps learners internalize concepts and develop confidence in independent problem-solving. Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged with software development, emerging technologies, and coding projects. These experiences allow me to bring contemporary, real-world examples into lessons. Teaching programming is highly rewarding because I witness learners gain proficiency, analytical thinking, and confidence, empowering them to tackle complex problems creatively and independently.
