About Iris
My passion for programming started with the realization that small lines of code can create meaningful, functional programs. This inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science, where I developed a deep understanding of algorithms, software design, and programming paradigms. Over 9 years of teaching, I have honed a patient, structured, and motivating approach to help students gain confidence in coding. I emphasize hands-on learning, logical thinking, and problem-solving. Lessons are tailored to individual needs, combining stepwise explanations, examples, and practice projects. I encourage students to understand why their code works and explore solutions independently. Outside the classroom, I experiment with personal projects, emerging technologies, and software development techniques. Bringing these into lessons ensures relevance and excitement. Watching students progress from uncertainty to confidence and mastery in programming is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

I structure lessons according to skill level. Beginners focus on basic syntax, variables, loops, and conditionals, while intermediate learners explore functions, modular coding, and debugging. Advanced students tackle algorithms, APIs, software design principles, and real-world projects. Exercises, challenges, and feedback reinforce learning and ensure students develop practical competence alongside theoretical understanding.
Computer programming lessons foster analytical thinking, patience, and structured problem-solving. Students learn to approach challenges methodically, test solutions, and adapt creatively. My goal is to empower learners with coding skills that enhance both academic performance and practical problem-solving confidence.
