About Sophie
I am a Computer Programming tutor with over 9 years of experience helping students become comfortable with coding. I enjoy working with beginners as well as learners returning to programming after a long gap. My background includes guiding school, college, and independent learners.
Outside teaching, I spend time building small software tools and exploring new technologies. I particularly enjoy Python because it allows simple ideas to grow into useful programs. I like explaining technical topics in everyday language.
Students often tell me they feel less intimidated by computers after a few sessions. I focus on patience and encouragement. My goal is to make you feel supported while you learn. You will not feel lost when learning programming with me.
