About Cynthia
Debugging techniques and object-oriented programming form the core of my daily work. Complexity is handled through systematic analysis.
Having 6 years of experience means I prioritize functional, efficient code above all else. My PhD in Statistics taught me that data structure is everything.
I have worked with many students who need to bridge the gap between theory and execution. Version control using Git is where I focus early on to ensure progress is tracked correctly.
SQL and database management are critical for any serious developer. Building software is a craft. Solving problems on coding platforms is quite fun when you know the shortcuts.

Syntax errors often stop progress before it begins. Logic gaps persist. I use my industry background to show why certain methods fail in real applications. We explore complex algorithms by breaking them down into manageable segments.
Coding is rarely linear. A hands-on mini project is assigned after every class to solidify the concepts covered. You will notice that 13 years of industry work changed how I view simple homework.
Most problems are just puzzles waiting for the right tool. Sometimes the simplest code is the strongest.
