About Dorian
I have 9 years of experience teaching Computer Programming, helping students develop logical reasoning, coding skills, and practical application expertise. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Science, which provided me with comprehensive knowledge of programming, algorithms, and software design. Over my teaching career, I have guided students at all levels to achieve mastery, confidence, and independence through structured, engaging, and interactive lessons.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, adaptability, and practical experience. I connect abstract coding principles to tangible applications, encourage experimentation, and foster problem-solving abilities. Lessons are personalized to each student’s pace, maximizing engagement, comprehension, and skill development.
Outside teaching, I continue working on software projects, exploring emerging technologies, and researching innovative programming methods. My lessons cover Python, Java, C++, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, debugging, and project-based application development. Lessons focus on problem-solving, computational thinking, and practical experience while fostering a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and discovering solutions independently.
Lesson design is tailored to each student’s skill level. Beginners start with variables, loops, conditionals, and simple projects to develop foundational skills. Intermediate learners work on modular programming, recursion, structured problem-solving, and debugging strategies. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, software optimization, project planning, API integration, and real-world programming challenges. Each session combines guided exercises, discussion, and feedback to reinforce learning, analytical skills, and independent problem-solving.
Programming lessons nurture creativity, structured thinking, and logical reasoning applicable beyond coding.
