About Xavier
My interest in programming grew from curiosity about creating logical solutions to practical problems. This led me to earn a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering. Over 10 years, I have taught students from beginners to advanced coders, helping them master programming fundamentals, algorithmic thinking, and real-world project skills.
I teach with clarity, patience, and a structured approach. Lessons emphasise practical exercises, problem-solving discussions, and project-based learning. I encourage learners to experiment, question, and build confidence through understanding, rather than rote memorisation.
Outside teaching, I engage with coding projects, emerging technologies, and collaborative programming communities to ensure lessons remain relevant and inspiring. Witnessing students transform from hesitation to mastery is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work and motivates me to continuously refine my methods.

Programming is both logical and creative, and my lessons focus on helping students develop structured thinking, problem-solving ability, and coding confidence. Students explore programming fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, algorithms, data structures, and project implementation. I emphasise understanding the logic behind code rather than memorisation, cultivating independent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and curiosity. Lessons include interactive exercises, coding challenges, and guided projects to foster hands-on learning and mastery.
Lesson content is customised based on skill level. Beginners focus on syntax, loops, conditional statements, and foundational programming concepts to build confidence. Intermediate learners engage with object-oriented design, modular programming, debugging strategies, and data structure implementation. Advanced learners explore algorithm optimisation, API integration, project architecture, and coding for real-world applications. Every session integrates exercises, projects, and feedback to ensure skill consolidation and independent learning.
Beyond coding, programming lessons develop logical reasoning, systematic thinking, and creative problem-solving. Students gain confidence in designing solutions, writing robust code, and applying skills in practical contexts.
