About Joseph
My interest in computer programming began when I realized how powerful simple logical instructions can be when used to build software. I became fascinated by how programmers design systems that allow computers to solve complex problems and perform useful tasks. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue advanced studies in computer science, and I later completed a PhD in Computer Science, where I studied algorithms, programming languages, and software engineering principles.
During my 11 years of teaching, I have worked with many students who wanted to learn programming from the beginning as well as those who wanted to strengthen their coding skills. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanation and practical coding exercises so learners can understand how programs work step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new technologies and developing small software projects that help me improve my programming abilities. These activities help me stay connected with modern developments in the technology field. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see students gain confidence and realize they are capable of creating useful digital solutions.

My computer programming lessons focus on helping students understand how logical instructions allow computers to solve problems and perform useful tasks. Many beginners find programming confusing because they see advanced code before learning the basic structure behind it. In my lessons we begin with simple programming concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and the general structure of a program. I explain how these components work together so students can clearly see how code creates a functioning application.
As learners gain confidence, lessons introduce functions, structured programming, and problem-solving techniques using code. Students practice writing small programs that perform tasks such as calculations, organizing data, or automating simple processes. I also guide learners in understanding how to identify errors in their programs and correct them through debugging, which is an important skill for any programmer.
My goal is to help students feel confident when learning programming and develop logical thinking abilities that extend beyond coding. Lessons emphasize clear explanation and practical exercises so learners can apply their knowledge immediately. Over time students begin to design their own programs and explore new programming tools independently.
