About BIBHABARI

Hi, I am Bibha! I am a High School Graduate '25 who will be attending UCLA in the Fall as a Pre-Med MIMG major! Going through the college application process was stressful, but I am here to help! Completing 9 selective internships heavy in biomedical research, and holding countless leadership experiences on campus - my connections with other peer mentors, professors, teachers, and counselors hashelped shape my academic journey to being admitted into some of the nations best colleges: UCLA, UC Berkeley, Case Western Reserve University, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Riverside.

My experiences & background is biomedical research heavy - I have designed 2 of my own research projects, participated in numerous intensive internships under professors and research facilities, helped collaborate and host public health awareness workshops in Nigerian communities, and have held numerous President and top leadership positions around campus. I can really work with matching and helping find opportunities for the students I look forward to working with - and not only helping them discover and apply for opportunities but how to best represent it in their college apps and help them get into top schools - especially the UCs.

I enjoy mentoring peers and helping in any way I can - as I believe my experiences in essay writing and resources acquired on curating a successful application to crack application process make me well qualified for assisting you in any advice, recommendations, search for internships/opportunities, and compelling essay writing, and I am looking forward to working with you!

About the lesson

In the first session, I would take down information about the student I hope to mentor and work with - seeing their interests, their point in their high school educational journey, and see where we can go from there! I will use a lot of lessons I have picked up from my own college process journey, and ones I have learned from many of my teachers, professors, and mentors. I will provide the student with guides, templates for necessary documents, help overlook resume writing, supplemental, PIQs, essay writing - help with brainstorming process and execution to present extracurriculars and capture the student in a holistic manner through their essays and application. This guidance is super crucial during the college journey to ensure students are on track, early, and on time to get to where they need to go - and I am more than happy to help in any way I can through these sessions with this feedback and mentorship!
