About Shambhavee
I am an enthusiastic beginner Mathematics tutor, committed to helping young learners from Kindergarten to Year 6 develop confidence and enjoyment in the subject. Although I am at the start of my tutoring journey, I bring energy, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, with a focus on building strong foundations in numeracy and problem-solving. I believe that every child can succeed in Mathematics when given the right support and encouragement. I chose to begin tutoring because I want to inspire students to see Mathematics as more than just numbers - it’s a skill that teaches logic, creativity, and resilience. Watching students grow in confidence and achieve their goals motivates me to keep learning and improving as a tutor.

Lesson Structure My Mathematics lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and engaging for students. Initial Assessment: In the first session, each student completes a short diagnostic test. This helps me assess their current skill level and tailor lessons to their individual needs. Lesson Flow: Each class begins with a recap, followed by either a new topic or a fun quiz. Lessons then focus on a specific topic, with opportunities for practice and discussion. Homework: At the end of each lesson, students receive homework to reinforce learning. Homework is due at the following session to ensure consistent progress. Lesson Duration by Year Level - Kindergarten: 30 minutes per lesson - Stage 1 (Years 1–2): 45 minutes per lesson - Stage 2 (Years 3–4): 60 minutes per lesson - Stage 3 (Years 5–6): 75 minutes per lesson
