About Melissa Emma
I am a recent graduate of both science and education that is eager to assist and aspire students into the world of science. Having qualified through COVID-19 has given me a strong grasp of online teaching and the ability to incorporate different software, programmes, and techniques into my lessons.
As a diagnosed dyslexic, I lacked self-esteem in the classroom as I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed to ask for help or speak out. With this personal understanding, I feel I am truly able to help those with learning difficulties by developing different strategies for each individual student so that they can feel more secure and confident in their studies. Also, through practice, I have discovered this has been beneficial to all students, not just those with learning difficulties.
