About Ishika
Hi! I’m Ishika, a Psychology postgraduate with a background in English Literature and a passion for making learning engaging, supportive, and confidence-building for students.
I teach Psychology, English, and beginner-level German to K-12 students through interactive and personalized classes tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. My approach focuses not only on academic improvement, but also on helping students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and genuinely enjoying the learning process.
With my background in psychology, I understand that every student learns differently. I use creative explanations, practical examples, discussions, revision techniques, and structured guidance to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Whether a student needs help strengthening basics, improving communication skills, preparing for exams, or building confidence in languages and humanities subjects, I aim to create a patient and encouraging learning environment where they can grow comfortably.
I believe good teaching is not about memorizing information, but about helping students become curious, confident, and independent learners.

Hey there! I am Ishika, a Psychology postgraduate with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, teaching Psychology, English, and German (at a basic level) to K-12 and university students.
In my approach, I always try to be empathetic and interactive while accommodating each student's unique learning styles and pacing. Classes need to be fun and stress-free for everyone, and being a Psychology graduate, I am very sensitive towards students' confidence, cognition, and motivation levels during the learning process.
Each lesson usually starts with an assessment of the student's knowledge level, aims, and problematic points before moving into explanation, discussion, practical application, exercises, and revision. In language lessons, my main focus is on improving students' communicative skills, expanding their vocabulary, mastering grammar rules, and making them more confident communicators. When it comes to Psychology and other humanities, I explain and break down complex theories and ideas with relatable real-world examples.
I would love to assist students who may need a more empathetic, supportive, structured, and personalized environment to learn effectively.
As an educator, I strive to provide a safe, motivating, and curious learning environment for all my students.
