About Beth

I am a PhD Student at King's College London in psychological medicine. I have a BSc in Psychology from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Mental Health Studies (distinction). I have 3yrs clinical experience as an assistant psychologist and 3 years as a research assistant. Got an A* in Psychology A-Level I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds. My clinical work has enabled me to develop different communication styles in which I can adapt to suit an individual's needs. I have worked with those who have special educational needs also. In my spare time, I volunteer with a charity that helps young people from underprivileged backgrounds with employment. I help them to improve their CV and support their aspirations with 1:1 career coaching. I enjoy cooking, hiking and swimming.

Beth helped me with an assistant psychologist job application. It was going to be my first position as an assistant psychologist, although I had previously sent in multiple applications which had been unsuccessful. Beth gave me thorough feedback throughout my whole application and allowed me to send it back to her multiple times. Beth's experience was invaluable and helped me to secure my first position as an assistant psychologist!
