About Claire
I am a twenty two year old female. I a studying a BA in English and Psychology throng Unisa which is an online/correspondence university. Due to my university being online I have had the privilege to travel to the north of Italy where I spent sometime teaching English to three children. I have had three au pair jobs one being in Australia and had to assist the children I cared for with their homework. Through this I learnt that I had a passion to help young children and high school learners to improve their understanding of school work by using methods of learning that are unique to each individual and helps them grasp and understand their work successfully.

My teaching method would be to first begin off by finding out what the individuals interests are and how they would usually do their homework or study. Through this I can assess how to tutor the individual and to possibly help change their methods if they prove to be unsuccessful or not well suited to them. I will create activities outside of their homework and studies for them to do, this way they will be getting more practice and their understanding for particular subjects will be assessed through these activities. These assessments will help me to record their progress and keep them accountable.
