About Amy

I have recently graduated from UCD with a 1st class honours degree in BSc Psychology. I am currently working in ABA services.

I have completed modules in Clinical, Counselling, Developmental. Cognitive, Language, Social, and Intelligence psychology. Furthermore, I have completed dedicated research methods and statistics education, which included SPSS training. I have completed an independent research dissertation, which involved independent literature reviews, data analysis, synthesisation and contextualisation of results.

I am looking to provide support to students currently completing their education in psychology. I can understand the stress of writing academic style essays and navigating the world of statistiscs and SPSS. I want to aide students in producing the highest quality of work they can and deepen their understanding of psychology.

About the lesson

Understanding the stress of being a student, I adopt an empathetic and tailored approach to the needs of each individual student.

I have previous experience teaching small lab demonstrations to college students, which focused on explaining research methods, statistical analyses, contextualising results, and providing support for writing academic papers and reports. I have also years of experience writing academic style essays on a varity of psychological topics.

Lessons are set at a 1 hour default. I understand they may vary in length depending on the student's requirements and I am willing to alter lengths based on these needs. I am dedicated to providing in-depth, clear, and specialised advice and teaching. I am willing to cover many different needs of students in one lesson.
