Hello, my name is Shahana. I am a dedicated educator with over six years of hands-on experience within the UK school system, combining a degree in Psychology with proven expertise as an SEN Teaching Assistant. My academic background gives me a deep understanding of children's cognitive development, memory, and how to manage learning anxiety, allowing me to deliver highly effective, tailored lessons for primary and secondary pupils. About the lesson

My Techniques & Teaching Methodology:
Because no two minds learn the exact same way, I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. My methodology combines my background in Psychology with hands-on SEN (Special Educational Needs) strategies to create a supportive, high-impact learning environment.
I use a step-by-step approach to break tough maths and science concepts into simple. Through interactive digital whiteboards and fun quizzes, I keep lessons engaging while transforming mistakes into positive learning moments. I also provide tailored English and Tamil language support to help new students thrive in the UK school system.

Duration: Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which is the optimal sweet spot for maintaining focus and retention for Key Stage 1–3 students.
