About Anniver
Hi! I’m Annie, a patient, friendly, and enthusiastic tutor with one year of part-time tutoring experience at AUP Elementary. I primarily worked with Grades 3–6, teaching Math, English, Filipino, and History. My Psychology background and experience working with children have helped me understand different learning needs and communicate with students effectively. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I especially enjoy teaching Math and making challenging concepts easier to understand, one step at a time!

My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and personalized. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through each step so they understand the concept and can solve problems independently.
For Math, I break difficult concepts into manageable steps using simple explanations, examples, and practice problems. I adjust my approach based on each student’s pace, strengths, and learning needs.
A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by instruction and examples, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. We end with a quick recap and identify areas that need more practice.
I have one year of part-time tutoring experience at AUP Elementary, primarily teaching Grades 3–6 in Math, English, Filipino, and History. My Psychology background and experience working with children have also helped me understand individual differences and communicate effectively with young learners.
My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students who want to strengthen their academic skills, receive extra support, or build confidence—especially in Mathematics.
