About Kavit
I am a recent psychology graduate. I obtained a 1st class (Hons) degree, and am looking to share my knowledge and teach the following subjects: psychology, history, English Language and Literature, Science and statistics. I am also looking to teach students guitar and beatboxing. I have taught beatboxing at secondary school, and taught a group of 8 students. I taught the students for approximately one year, and taught the students on a weekly basis. I have won various talent competitions, most recently, I made a song with Grammy nominated producer MNEK (although the song was not published).

As I am educated to a degree level in psychology, I am looking to teach psychology from GCSE level to degree level. In addition, I completed an advanced statistics module at University, and achieved an exceptional first class mark for the module (81%). As such, I am looking to teach statistics from GCSE to degree level.
Lesson structure: In the first lesson, I will assess the students abilities and subject knowledge. This will be achieved using past examination papers. Thereafter, I will assess the students strengths (which are always good to start with), and discuss areas which may need improvement. Each lesson will commence with a mini test, and I will cover various topic areas during the lesson. The lesson will end with an action plan for the next lesson (e.g., what areas the student would like to cover).
I am a very calm, patient and understanding tutor. I am also very confident, open and adaptable. I believe these personal characteristics make me a good tutor, because confidence is required to motivate students and inspire them to achieve the best results possible. A calm and patient attitude is needed, to ensure students are learning at their own pace and in order to make sure students feel comfortable.
