About Vaishnavi
I’m passionate about helping people because I genuinely care about understanding what they’re going through and finding ways to make a positive difference in their lives. Psychology gives me the tools to do that. It helps me see not just what people do, but why they do it, and how thoughts, emotions, and experiences shape their behavior. I love that it’s not just about studying the mind, but also about using that knowledge to support someone, guide them through challenges, and help them grow. For me, there’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing I’ve played a small part in making someone’s life a little better. And teaching the different techniques is very rewarding as well. I have teaching experience of 6 years.

When I teach psychology, I like to follow a simple method I call Explain - Experience –Evaluate. First, I explain the topic in easy words, using real-life examples and pictures so it’s clear and relatable. Then, I let students experience it through fun activities like small experiments, role plays, case studies, or observation tasks, so they can see how it works in real life. Finally, I check their understanding with quick quizzes, group talks, or short writing tasks where they share how they can use the idea in their own lives. This way, my classes stay interesting, easy to follow, and help students remember and use what they learn.
I also take therapy as it's a graduate requirement for my course.
