About Shinola
I have recently graduated from the University of Pretoria with a BSocSci Honours degree in Psychology. During this degree, I tutored abnormal and social psychology. However, I have always obtained distinctions in all of my psychology modules and I graduated with an overall distinction for my bachelor's degree.
Most of my students have gotten distinctions for their exams and overall grades. However, I do believe that the amount of work you put in will determine the grade you receive. With that being said, I am always willing to put in the same amount of effort that you put in as well.

I am wiling to tutor both individual and groups of students.
My teaching methods typically vary depending on students and also the material being taught (e.g. for abnormal psychology, I generally make use of mind maps). However, I commonly make use of mind maps and presentations. I also ask frequent questions / set small tests in order to determine what sections need to be covered again and how well the student is understanding the work.
