My teaching approach is interactive, practical, and tailored to each student's learning style and level. As a Master's graduate in Psychology with practical experience in counseling and mental health settings, I aim to make psychological concepts easy to understand rather than relying only on textbook definitions.
I usually begin a class by understanding the student's current level, learning goals and areas of difficulty. I then explain concepts using simple language, real-life examples, case-based discussions, and practical applications. Depending on the topic, I also use diagrams, mind maps, questions, discussions, and short activities to make the session engaging.
A typical class includes a brief review of previous concepts, introduction of the new topic, detailed explanation with examples, interactive discussion or questions and a short recap at the end. For students preparing for exams, I can also focus on important concepts, answer-writing techniques, revision, and practice questions.
One of my strengths as a teacher is my ability to simplify complex psychological concepts while connecting them to everyday life. My background in counseling and my exposure to clinical settings also allow me to bring practical perspectives and examples into my teaching.
I offer classes for school students, undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology students, as well as adults who want to learn Psychology out of academic or personal interest. I can also help students with areas such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methodology, and general Psychology concepts.
My goal is not just to help students memorize Psychology but to help them understand how and why psychological concepts apply to real people and real-life situations.
