About Emilie
Initially trained as a French tutor at a collegiate level (2019), my interest for tutoring work has led me to support my students in others subjects, mainly in social sciences. My passion for teaching was however already present, as I have been a swimming and lifeguarding instructor since 2016. I offer my tutoring services flexibly in order to answer every student's needs. Initialement formée pour le tutorat en français au niveau collégial (2019), mon intérêt pour le travail de tuteur m'a menée à supporter mes élèves dans d'autres matières, principalement en sciences sociales. Cependant, ma passion pour l'enseignement était déjà présente, étant monitrice de natation et de sauvetage depuis 2016. J'offre mes services de tutrice flexiblement, de façon à bien répondre aux besoins de chacun.

I teach in a very individualized manner where I encourage and support the student to use their skills to improve. I believe the wide variety of subjects I can help with sets me apart from others. I am comfortable teaching in French or in English for all students, including those living with a learning disorder or any other disability. J'enseigne de façon très individualisée; j'encourage et je supporte l'étudiant à utiliser ses habiletés pour s'améliorer. Je crois que la grande variété de sujets avec lesquels je peux aider me distingue des autres. Je suis à l'aise d'enseigner en français ou en anglais pour tous les élèves, incluant ceux vivant avec un trouble d'apprentissage ou tout autre handicap.
