About Aisha
My name is Aisha Ansari! I'm from Cupertino, California, and currently a sophomore at Mission College in Santa Clara. I am majoring in Psychology and I'm a pre-pa student. I'm passionate about helping others and have experience in tutoring STEM/Non-STEM subjects and would love to share my knowledge. Tutoring and leadership roles are one of my many strongest passions. I have vast experiences of interacting with people from various backgrounds through being a mentor at hackathons, the current president of Girls Who Code at my college, aiding elementary through middle school students at Kumon's English and math center, volunteering at Kaiser Permanente, and tutoring young girls of diverse backgrounds how to use both HTML and CSS to create their own websites over the summer at Girls Who Code SIP program.

As a tutor it's crucial for me to establish an academic and friendly non-academic connection with my students so they can feel valued and safe. Typically, I see what a student knows already before I start my lesson plan so I can tweak or make adjustments because every student is different and unique when it comes to learning.
