About Jahnavi

I am Jahnavi, a psychologist with a genuine passion for understanding human behavior, thoughts, emotions, and the factors that shape our everyday experiences. My interest in psychology goes beyond textbooks—I enjoy exploring how psychological concepts connect to real-life situations and helping others develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

I want to share my knowledge because I believe psychology is a fascinating and practical subject that can benefit everyone. For students especially, learning psychology can help develop self-awareness, critical thinking, empathy, and a better understanding of people and relationships.

I am particularly interested in working with students who are curious about psychology, considering it as a future field, or are still unsure about which academic or career path suits them. I hope to make learning psychology simple, engaging, and relatable while helping students explore their interests and make informed choices about their future.

As a teacher, I aim to create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, share their perspectives, and learn at their own pace. For me, sharing knowledge is not just about teaching a subject—it is about helping students become more curious, confident, and aware learners.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, personalized, and focused on helping students understand psychology in a simple and engaging way. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to their individual learning style, interests, strengths, and areas where they need more support.

A typical class begins with a brief introduction and getting to know the student, including their interests, goals, and current understanding of the subject. I then introduce the topic using clear explanations, real-life examples, discussions, and practical situations to make psychological concepts easier to understand. Throughout the class, I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than simply memorizing information.

At the end of each session, I recap the key concepts covered, followed by a short quiz or interactive activity to check understanding. The class concludes with a quick discussion of what the student learned and, when appropriate, what we can explore in the next session.

As a teacher, I am friendly, patient, understanding, adaptable, and attentive to each student's needs. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions, express their opinions, and learn without fear of making mistakes. I also connect psychology to everyday life, helping students see how psychological concepts apply to themselves, their relationships, education, and the world around them.

My classes are intended for students from Class 9 onwards, including school and college students who are curious about psychology, want to strengthen their understanding of the subject, or are unsure about which academic or career field to choose. I can also help students explore their interests, understand their strengths, learn more about psychology-related careers, and make more informed decisions about their future academic path.
