About Katie
Hi, my names Katie and I’m currently doing a psychology undergraduate at University of Nottingham. I achieved A*A*AB in my A levels. Since leaving mandatory education, I’ve been keen to transfer the invaluable skills and knowledge I gathered over the years in psychology, which helped me to gain an A* in Psychology and attain a place on my course at university. After only recently leaving mandatory education, I have great awareness of the difficulties of trying to juggle the stress of revision, homework and essay plans. My lessons are a safe and enjoyable place for learning, where I aim to make you feel comfortable to share what you’re struggling with and to ask questions. Additionally, my knowledge of AQA A level psychology is still fresh and I have access to a number of documents I used throughout A level psychology which helped me obtain an A*. My priority is ensuring each student meets their individual target and they have the 1-1 attention, in order to thrive in psychology. To do this, my lessons are interactive and engaging, where the focus is on your enjoyment in learning the content, rather than memorising the content. I am dedicated to helping you to succeed. My lessons will be person centred to you, tailored towards your unique learning style and interests to strengthen your learning. I believe, this is the way, which is most effective for achieving the results you wish for.
