About Amber
I’m Amber Paterson, a PTR certified and LTA accredited tennis coach, and a former NCAA Division I player from Scotland. I have 9 years of coaching experience, including at a globally recognised academy in Florida, where top professionals like Coco Gauff have trained.
I have worked with hundreds of players of all levels — from complete beginners learning the fundamentals to advanced players refining technique, tactics, movement, and mental game. I believe in strong fundamentals, but I also understand that tennis is constantly evolving. I am always updating my coaching approach and learning new ideologies to ensure my players benefit from the most effective methods. I also offer tennis-specific workouts to boost speed, strength, and agility.
Whether you want high-quality hitting sessions, tactical match-play training, or detailed technical guidance, I bring expertise, experience, and passion to every session. My lessons are fully personalised, with clear intentions and practical tools, helping students feel confident, supported, and motivated on and off the court.

My lessons are fully personalised to you — whether you want a reliable hitting partner, to sharpen match tactics, improve movement patterns, or break down technical aspects of your game.
I’ve worked with hundreds of players at all levels, from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to advanced players chasing tournament success. My approach is all about having a clear intention for each lesson and giving you the tools to achieve it. I focus on strong fundamentals, explaining why we’re learning each skill so you truly understand the game.
Lessons are usually 60–90 minutes, packed with technique, tactics, movement drills, and mental strategies to make you a smarter, more confident player. I’ve coached at world-class academies, where top professionals, including Coco Gauff, have trained, and I bring that same professional insight to every player I work with.
I teach all ages and levels, tailoring sessions to your goals, style, and pace. My goal is simple: to help you improve, play smarter, and love your tennis. Every session is purposeful, energetic, and fun — helping you reach your potential!
