About Claire
Confident speaking is a skill, and accessible to everybody. I can teach you how to sound and appear more confident when you speak. I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher, actress, director, and presenter, with a degree in performing arts and a postgraduate certificate in teaching. I taught in brick-and-mortar schools for over 16 years and have coached online to students all over the world for the past 6 years. I set up my own Public Speaking tutoring/coaching platform 2 years ago, and help clients with all areas of public speaking from interview prep, to class presentations, business pitches, to prize-winning speeches.
My passion for public speaking tutoring and coaching largely stems from starting life as a very shy child, who struggled to speak to anyone except close friends and family. My career in teaching, tutoring, and coaching comes from a passion for never wanting anyone, of any age, to feel like I did as a child. I want everyone to be able to have a voice, and be able to express themselves confidently, and to be STRONG SPEAKERS.

After a warm-up exercise proven to improve articulation and pronunciation, we will learn a key public speaking skill. Working on how to use the skill to sound more engaging/interesting/sincere/stronger, and confident. With the idea being that once a skill is learnt, it can be used in ANY form of public speaking- even future interviews. I have experience of working with all ages from 4 to adults. I adapt my teaching to suit the learners' age, ability, and experience. I find 30 to 45 minutes is a good length of session for under 18s and 60 to 90 minutes for over 18s.

I am afraid I do not offer any free sessions, but what I can guarantee is that EVERY session paid for WILL BE delivered. So if you are ill, get stuck in traffic, have technical issues, etc we will simply reschedule for a mutually agreeable time.
