About Andy
Privately educated in the United Kingdom I then went on to serve in the armed forces of Great Britain. I am an adventurer having sailed single-handed to Alaska, skydived with the Red Devils and ridden a motorcycle to the Arctic circle. I am now a Yachtmaster Offshore and work often in the Meditteranean or on the Pacific west coast.

Firstly I need to assess the level my student is at. From that point, I tailor my teaching to that student. Conversational is the first and most important aspect of learning any language. We then progress to reading and comprehension. Some people remember by seeing and some by hearing. I work out the methodology which is best suited for the student in question. I try to keep it interesting but there is always a need to go over and repeat previous material - thus ensuring it is both understood and will be remembered in months and years to come.
